Silver Birch — The Simple Life
Following the intimacy of his debut single Yourself, singer-songwriter Silver Birch aka Patrick Lerjen opens the gates wide with his new indie-folk-rock song The Simple Life. He invites us to not dwell on our hardships and leads us out to an alluring world of soothing severity.
Woven of rich textures of 70s-synths and driven by gnarly guitars & drums, The Simple Life was the first song Lerjen wrote, when he was daydreaming about his debut as a singer. The song became somewhat of a blueprint for the sound of Silver Birch.
Recorded during lockdown in the solitude of Lerjen’s one-room-studio, there are 19 songs in cue to be released in the following months.
