Elvett — Infinite Lives

Your life is only worth something because you only have one! Infinite Lives, the latest single from art-pop shapeshifters Elvett, is a celebration of life in the face of oblivion. Memento Mori! Remember death, but don’t forget to light up with that effortless smile, while you’re at it.
The song was written for Alain’s father, who left this planet at the end 2019. The idea was to pen something which is full of love and color, and will allow for a graceful, mindful departure. The song was created in collaboration with producer Christophe Calpini (Erik Truffaz, Alain Bashung etc.). Kaleidoscopic swirling radiance. Rolling waves of warmth breaking open with synth-generated incan- descence and wild torrents of groove. A belly type of warmth. A timeless pop jam making a b-line between an 80s rendering of a Prince sonic after-future and things to come.
