Elvett — The Run

The life of an artist is a long-distance race. You run alone. Alone with your breathing, alone with your beating heart. On the side of the road, people look at you and shout. Some get in the way, others accompany you, encourage you. Yet only you know the way.

«The Run» is Elvett’s new single. It is the first of an album announced for next fall. It testifies to a new formation composed of female voices, analog synths and organic rhythms recorded in communion at l’Epicentre, Geneva in August 2022.

Accompanied by singer and jazz pianist Soraya Berent since their debut, Elvett surrounds themselves now with the talented singer and producer Gaspard Sommer and by Chloé Baumgartner and Capucine Mugnier of the trio «Les Lunes».

Like a jewelry box for the powerful voice of Lyn m, this new group returns to their first love: soul, blues and gospel. Their constant search for novelty is satisfied thanks to the luminous productions of Alain Frey.
