Namaka — Butterflies

Butterflies, the new single of electro pop outfit Namaka. After their first EP Cellophane (featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and on many radios and blogs), Butterflies is the first single of the upcoming EP Water On The Sun, due to drop on May 8th 2020 on Mouthwatering Records.

Inspired by the sun of a recording session in Italy, the song celebrates the lightness of this week together.

Imagine a perfect boulevard. On each side of the road: white houses, white fences. Everyone’s smiling. Everyone’s happy. Un-reality. The song evokes a virtual world madly trying to shine with polished appearances. It reflects the perfection everybody seeks for, trying to hide normality and vulnerability. Red sunset over the hills, butterflies gently flutter on strawberry fields, heading towards the bright horizon. Ever after.
