Odd Beholder — Just Because I Regret It

Odd Beholder announces the third and most personal album "Feel Better" with the release of the first single "Just Because I Regret It”. With the track, Weinmann debates the morally ambiguous edges of our actions. The song is punkish- rebelliously charged: You can feel the desire to be amoral, to refuse and to say no!

"The lyrics, though, are about regret," Weinmann explains, "and how one's problematic patterns of behavior can't be so easily discarded. After the sad bridge ("You're on a course / That you don't wanna be on / Call it a curse"), the beat comes back almost a bit too joyfully stomping. Perhaps the person expressing themselves here is at a crossroads, trying to decide between revolution and therapy.

Whether the song is a lustful, yet evil dance track or a reflective therapy anthem is now entirely up to the listener."
